Per User page Locking

Someone was asking me if it was possible for people to lock their own personal pages. It isn't right now, but I was wondering how difficult it would be to implement. I think it would be possible. Any thoughts? -- KevinTaylor

I just downloaded the code for the first time today, and heck, I don't even know Perl all that well yet, but this is exactly the sort of feature I intend to add so I've got a few thoughts. It seems to me that the simplest way to go about this would be to add an "owner" attribute for each page which holds the id of the user that owns it, or some other non-user id to indicate an "unowned" page that anyone can edit. Then add a check in the UserCanEdit function. The complicated part becomes how to set which pages are owned by which users. I still have to look more deeply into how user records are managed for that. What do the more experienced programmers think of my thought? :) --Bryan Derksen
It would be interesting if the author's page has default administrator permissions for him/her own author. --JuanmaMP
