UserHelp/E-Mail Notification

(db) A friend recenty installed Usemod on his site. He was going to do the mistake of installing Media Wiki so I had a talk with him. :-)

He is very happy with Usemod.

I notice he does not have the E-mail Notification that the e-mail has changed tag on the Edit screen and nothing related to e-mail at Preferences.

Did he download the wrong version by any chance?

There is a patch for this function at: WikiPatches/UseNetSmtp

I wonder if this is the patch mentioned above that has been installed.
