I have setup several UseMod WikiWikis in our company intranet. The first started at 8/2001 and contains 500 topics (4/2002) in the meantime.

We use WikiWiki for documentation and partially for communication. Everybody within a working group reads RecentChanges at least on a daily basis. This reduces mail and news traffic significantly.
