Several people have lists on their "personal" pages, some of which are updated frequently. Maybe subpages could be marked as "frequent-update lists", and others could filter them out of RC. Another option would be to default-check the RecentEdits box for some subpages (maybe make it a page-option).
One could hide subpages, or maybe inline them in some cases.
